Excerpt: “Set your hearts on the greater gifts.” (2) Easily said. Harder to accomplish. Our world cries out for us to set our hearts on the lesser gifts – the designer labels, the stylish cars, the proper scent or neighbor-hood or image. We have only one image that should concern us: the image and likeness of God in which we were created. To the extent that our stewardship of earth, our time and our talents reflect God’s image we are successful. To the extent that we fail to show God to the world we are unknown to God. (1) The people of the neighborhood thought they recognized Jesus as the carpenter’s son. They failed to recognize him as the Son of the Most High. (3) Who is your Daddy?
