Minutes of the Parish Pastoral Council of St. Paul’s Parish
January 12, 2010
7:00 P.M., the Undercroft, Yellow Springs, OH

1. Call to Order: 7:05 -Gretchen Beers
   Faith Formation: Dan Retherford
2. Introduction of Guests: Sue Dillon
3. Approval/Correction of Minutes of November 3, 2009 – Approved by John Feltz and seconded by Jo Dunphy.
4. Old and Pending Business
   1. Funeral/Wedding Expenses – As previously decided at March 3, 2009 meeting, suggested donations for weddings and funerals are in place and details are available by contacting the rectory.
   2. Christmas Eve mass- discussed possibly beginning mass at 10:00 instead of at 12:00.   The discussion will be referred to the Worship Commission.

6. Commission Reports
   1. Building & Grounds –John Struewing – Not Present
   2. Cemetery – Ken Struewing – Not present
   3. Education – Beth Paciorek – November 24 was their last meeting date. February 27th Josh Danis will present a parish retreat from 8:30-12:30. He is the new Coordinator of Spiritual Renewal and Evangelization.   More information to follow.
   4. Finance – John Feltz –Reviewed the purchase of the new furnace and costs. The new maintenance fund covered most of the costs. The Cunneen Company will give a report Jan/Feb to the parish.
   5. Worship – Joyce Robinson – Not present
   6. Youth Ministry – Eileen Borchers -Not present
   7. PLOC (Parish Life & Outreach Commission): Dan Retherford –Three goals for the upcoming year are 1) Increasing connections internally and externally with the community 2) Increasing the image of the St. Paul 3) Increasing funds for the church.
7. Matters for the Good of the Parish-Carole Grady shared new materials being utilized forthe First Communicants.
