Excerpt: “There are different gifts but the same Spirit.” (2) One of the strengths of the Church is its Catholicism. We have all kinds of people involved in our parish and throughout the world – the very old and the very young; the well educated and the simple, the rich and the poor, the strong and the weak. But in order for this very large and very catholic church to work, all of our gifts are required. It is possible that in the world any one of us might “go it alone,” but in eternity we need the unity of time, talent and treasure to bring God’s kingdom to fullness.
